Custom Sports Jersey and Team Uniform Manufacturers: Sublimated Kits for Clubs and Brands

Sialkot and other Pakistani cities have a long history of making sportswear, and many factories now make custom jerseys and full team kits for clubs, schools, leagues, brands and resellers overseas. This page explains the fabrics, the printing methods and the order details that matter when you buy jerseys with names, numbers and your own design.

The short answer

You can ask Pakistani manufacturers for sublimated or embroidered jerseys, shorts and full team uniforms for soccer, basketball, baseball, cricket, rugby and other sports, with names, numbers and your own design. Send a design file, a size breakdown per player and the sport, and specify the fabric, the decoration method and the packing. Order a sample jersey before you commit to the full team order.

What you can ask for

  • Soccer and football kits. Jerseys, shorts and socks, with goalkeeper kits in contrasting colours.
  • Basketball uniforms. Sleeveless jerseys and shorts, reversible styles included.
  • Baseball and softball jerseys. Button-front and pullover styles, with piping and lettering.
  • Cricket, rugby and netball kits. Shirts and trousers or shorts, plain or fully sublimated.
  • Volleyball, hockey and training kits. Jerseys, singlets, training tops and warm-up wear.
  • Blank jerseys. Plain jerseys without decoration, for brands and printers who decorate them later.
  • Team accessories. Bibs, jackets, tracksuits and bags that match the kit.

Ranges differ by factory. Tell us the sport and the garments and we will ask the manufacturers that make them.

Fabric: what to compare

ChoiceWhat it isWhat to ask
Polyester meshA breathable, lightweight knit with small holes, common for soccer and basketball. The fabric weight (GSM) and the hole pattern.
Birdseye meshA mesh with a fine dimpled texture and good airflow. The weight, and how well the fabric holds a sublimated print.
Interlock polyesterA smoother, denser double knit used for baseball tops and training shirts. The weight and whether it is moisture-wicking.
Moisture-wicking finishA treatment or yarn that moves sweat away from the skin.Whether the property is in the yarn or a finish, and how it survives repeated washing.
Cotton and cotton-poly blendsA softer feel for casual team wear and fan jerseys. The blend ratio, and note that sublimation works best on polyester.

Sublimation prints through heat into polyester, so it needs a high polyester content. Ask each supplier to confirm the fibre content for the print method you want.

Printing and decoration

  • Full sublimation. The whole design is printed into the fabric, so colours do not crack or peel and gradients and patterns are possible.
  • Heat transfer. Names, numbers and logos pressed onto the finished jersey, useful for small runs and individual names.
  • Embroidery. Stitched crests and lettering on baseball and premium jerseys.
  • Twill and appliqué. Stitched fabric numbers and letters for a traditional team look.
  • Sponsor logos and patches. Positions and sizes for sponsor marks, crests and league badges.

Send the design as a vector or layered file, say where each element sits, and give colour references. Ask for a printed sample and check the colours against your design on screen and in daylight.

How a team order works

DetailWhat to send
Design fileFront, back, sleeves and side panels, with any sponsor and crest positions.
Player listNames and numbers for each player, spelled exactly, and which garments carry which name.
Size breakdownThe number of each size per garment, split into adult and youth, and into men and women if needed.
Goalkeeper and spare kitsA different colour set for goalkeepers and any spare or training tops.
Matching itemsShorts, socks, bibs or jackets that must match the jersey colours.
Delivery dateThe date the team needs the kit, so the supplier can plan production and shipping.

Changes after production starts are expensive. Confirm the spelling of names and the size breakdown in writing before the supplier prints.

Sizing and fit

  • Size chart. The supplier's chest, length and sleeve measurements for each size, compared against your own best-fitting jersey.
  • Fit style. Regular, slim or relaxed, and whether the cut differs for men, women and youth.
  • Youth sizes. Whether youth sizes are scaled properly or simply shorter versions of the adult pattern.
  • Measurement tolerance. How far finished garments may differ from the chart, stated in writing.

Quality checks before you order in bulk

  • Check colour match. Compare the sample colours with your design and a Pantone reference, in daylight.
  • Check print quality. Look for blurry edges, white gaps at seams, colour bleeding and misaligned panels.
  • Check numbers and names. Check spelling, size, position and how well they are attached after a wash.
  • Check stitching and fabric. Look at seam strength, collars and cuffs, and compare the fabric weight with the quote.
  • Wash and wear test. Wash the sample and check shrinkage, colour fastness and whether the print holds.
  • Inspect before shipment. Ask for an independent inspection of the production lot, including a check of size counts.

Who buys custom jerseys in bulk

  • Clubs, schools and leagues. Ordering kits for teams each season.
  • Sportswear brands. Selling their own designs under a private label.
  • Print and promo companies. Buying blank or custom jerseys for resale to teams and events.
  • Resellers and importers. Buying standard jersey designs in volume.

Minimum order, samples and lead time

Minimum orders depend on the factory, the product and how custom the design is. They are often set per design and per garment, and team orders are usually quoted per set. Ask each supplier for a written quote that states the price per piece or set, the minimum order, the lead time and what is included, such as names, numbers and packaging.

We can send your brief to several manufacturers, compare the quotes, arrange samples and book an independent inspection before shipment. You pay the supplier directly.

Frequently asked questions

Can I get custom jerseys with my own design, names and numbers?

Yes. Factories sublimate or print your design and add names and numbers. Send the design file, the player list with exact spellings and the size breakdown when you ask for a quote.

What is the minimum order for custom jerseys?

It depends on the factory, the garment and how custom the design is. Team orders are often quoted per set. Ask each supplier for a written quote that states the minimum.

What is sublimation and why is it used for team kits?

Sublimation prints the design into polyester fabric with heat, so the colours do not crack or peel and a full-colour design covers the whole jersey. It works best on polyester, so check the fibre content.

Can I order blank jerseys?

Yes. Factories supply plain jerseys without decoration, in your colours and sizes, for brands and printers who decorate them later. Say how you plan to decorate them, because the best fabric depends on the method.

How do I order different sizes for a team?

Send a size breakdown listing how many of each size you need for each garment, and split adult and youth sizes. Confirm it in writing before production starts.

Can you make goalkeeper kits and matching shorts and socks?

Yes. Suppliers make goalkeeper kits in contrasting colours and matching shorts and socks. List every item in the brief so the colours match across the kit.

Which sports can you source kits for?

Soccer, basketball, baseball, softball, cricket, rugby, netball, volleyball and training wear are common. Tell us the sport and we will ask the manufacturers that make it.

Can I order a sample jersey first?

Yes, and we recommend it. Check the colour match, the print quality, the fit and the stitching before you approve the full order.

How do I check the quality of the jerseys?

Compare the colours with your design, look for print edges, gaps at seams and bleeding, check names and numbers, and wash the sample to check shrinkage and colour fastness.

How do I get a quote?

Fill in the short form on this page with the sport, the garments, the quantity and your destination country, and attach the design if you have it. Our team replies within one business day. You pay suppliers directly, and any fee for our service is agreed in writing before work starts.
