Describe the product, the quantity, your target price and where it should ship. Add photos or a drawing if you have one.
- 2
Suppliers send offers
Suppliers who sell this kind of product are told about your request and reply with a price, quantity and delivery time.
- 3
Compare and choose
Compare the offers, chat with the suppliers you like and agree the order directly with the one you choose.
Why buyers post a request
- Reach the right suppliers. Your request is matched to suppliers who already list similar products, so you do not have to search one by one.
- Offers come to you. Instead of sending the same enquiry to many suppliers, you post once and compare the answers in one place.
- Your contact details stay private. Your email and phone number are not shown on the public board. Suppliers reply through Baramdat and you decide who to talk to.
- Stay in control. Your request stays open for a limited time. You can extend it, close it or choose an offer whenever you are ready.
- Help when you want it. If you would rather not do the comparing yourself, our sourcing team can handle the request for you.
For suppliers: find buyers who are ready to order
- Real demand. Every request is a buyer who has said what they need, how many and where to.
- Requests that fit. Log in to see the requests that match the products you sell, and hide the ones that do not.
- Send a clear quote. Give your price per unit, the quantity you can supply, your delivery time and payment terms. One clear offer is better than several vague ones.
- Follow up in chat. When a buyer is interested they can message you from the offer, so you can answer questions and agree details.
How to write a request that gets good offers
Suppliers answer the requests that are clear and easy to price. A few details make the difference.
- Say exactly what you need: product type, material, size and any standards.
- Give a realistic quantity. Suppliers price differently at 100 and at 10,000 units.
- Add a target price if you have one, and the currency.
- Name the destination country so suppliers can plan shipping.
- Attach photos, drawings or a reference link. It cuts the back and forth.
- Say when you need the goods, and whether you want samples first.

Buyer request FAQs
What is a buyer request?
A buyer request (sometimes called a request for quotation or RFQ) is a short post where a buyer says what product they need, how many, and where it should be delivered. Suppliers who sell that kind of product reply with their price and terms, so the buyer can compare offers.
How do I post a buyer request on Baramdat?
Click Post Buyer Request, log in or create an account, then fill in the product name, quantity, destination country and, if you can, your target price and details. Add photos if they help. Your request then appears to suppliers.
Do I need an account to post a buyer request?
Yes. An account lets suppliers reach you safely through Baramdat and lets you manage your offers. If you would rather not sign up, send a sourcing request with just your email or WhatsApp number and our team will look for suppliers for you.
Who can see my contact details?
Your email and phone number are not shown on the public board. Suppliers send offers and messages through Baramdat, and you choose who to continue with.
How long does a buyer request stay open?
A request stays on the board for a limited time, usually about a month. You can extend it up to three times, or close it as soon as you have found a supplier.
How many offers will I get?
It depends on the product and how clear your request is. Requests with a specific product, a quantity and a destination get the best answers. A request may also have a limit on the number of offers, so suppliers answer with their best price.
What should I include to get good offers?
The exact product, material or size, the quantity, your target price, the destination country, when you need it, and photos or a drawing. The more precise the request, the more comparable the offers.
How do I send a quote as a supplier?
Log in to your seller account and open the buyer request board or the Requests for You page. Choose a request, click Send Quote and enter your price per unit, quantity, delivery time and payment terms. You can send one offer per request.
What is the difference between a buyer request and a sourcing request?
With a buyer request you post publicly and compare the suppliers' offers yourself. With a sourcing request our team does the work: we find suppliers, collect and compare quotes, and arrange samples and inspection if you want. A sourcing request needs only an email or WhatsApp number, not an account.
Does Baramdat handle the payment or guarantee the supplier?
No. Baramdat connects buyers and suppliers. You agree the price, terms and payment with the supplier directly, so check the supplier, ask for samples on larger orders and keep your agreement in writing. For extra support, use our sourcing service.
